For alumni and active members to connect and network

Phi Kappa Psi held its 4th Annual Professional Development Workshop on September 27 in the Illinois State University Bone Student Center, a structured learning event designed to assist the undergraduate Brothers career preparation by providing clear, actionable takeaways to increase knowledge, build new expertise, and strengthen existing skills.

This year’s Workshop again focused on two tracks of learning. First and second-year Brothers attended sessions on time management, identifying your strengths, and building your first resume. Upperclassmen participated in discussions on job and internship search strategies, as well as sessions devoted to networking and interview practice. The program also included a presentation on men’s health which focused on how to successfully build fitness and nutrition into an already busy class and work schedule.

The Workshop again concluded with the extremely popular Alumni Panel Discussion with Phi Psi’s from the Cybersecurity, Education, Finance, and Marketing industries sharing their knowledge on connecting with peers in their field and building their professional network.

The Professional Development Workshop was made possible by a grant from the Phi Kappa Psi Foundation and donations from generous alumni. The entire program was conceived, developed, and presented by Phi Psi alumni.
